2. What we collect
- Account data — email, display name and profile details you provide.
- Rider activity — routes, rides, hangouts, posts and reviews you create.
- Location — used to show nearby riders/businesses; visibility is rider-controlled.
- Business analytics — aggregated engagement counts surfaced to businesses; individual rider identities are never exposed to businesses.
- Technical data — device, log and essential-cookie data needed to run the service.
3. Legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)
Contract performance (running your account and providing the service), legitimate interest (security and aggregated, non-identifying analytics) and, where required, your consent.
4. Sharing & processors
We use service providers ("processors") to operate Motoloop — e.g. cloud hosting/database, website hosting, payment processing and email delivery. See Recipients & processors below. We do not sell personal data.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to run the site and keep you signed in — no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these, contact info@motoloop.eu.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above: account and profile data until you delete your account; content you post until you remove it; technical logs for a short period for security. Business analytics are kept only in aggregated, non-identifying form.
8. Recipients & processors
To run Motoloop we work with a small number of carefully selected service providers who act as processors on our behalf, in the following categories:
- Cloud hosting, database & authentication — within the EU.
- Website hosting — within the EU (Germany).
- Payment processing — for business subscriptions and per-lead billing. This may involve a transfer to the USA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Maps & media delivery — to display maps and serve images.
- Transactional email — account, billing and notification messages.
A current list of the specific sub-processors we use is available on request at info@motoloop.eu.
